Leipzig’s team also revealed that, under the correct circumstances, they are prepared to let go of the 22-year-old. According to reports, the Bundesliga team wants €70 million (£60 million/$82 million) for the Dutch player.
Marcel Schafer, the club’s sporting director, has stated that they will only approve a trade if it is a suitable fit. Because they must sell players to pay for the Simons deal, Chelsea is delaying the agreement. To pay for the deal, the Blues are attempting to sell Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku.
Chelsea wanted to sell Nkunku to Bayern in order to raise some money.
