Liverpool is preparing a new proposal for Alexander Isak as Newcastle signs striker Nick Woltemade in a club-record £69 million move.
Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart has officially joined Newcastle United for a club-record price.
The striker, who has reportedly earned Stuttgart £69 million ($93 million), has signed a “long-term deal,” according to the Magpies. The 6′ 6″ attacker has now said how happy he is to be a part of Eddie Howe’s squad.

“I’m really happy to be at this amazing club,” he said on Newcastle’s website. I had the impression that the club had enormous ambitions for me and truly wanted me from the first time we spoke. Leaving Germany is a major life transition for me, but everyone has embraced me and I already feel like I’m at home.
After talking to the head coach, I have a strong sense that this is the ideal setting for me to reach my full potential. I’ve seen games on TV, so I know the stadium; it looks fantastic, and I know the atmosphere is wild. I can’t wait to get started and score goals here.”

Alexander Isak, a wantaway talisman, may be able to leave Newcastle now that they have finally acquired a new striker. According to reports, Liverpool is getting ready to offer £130 million ($175 million) for the 25-year-old, which might signal that this exciting transfer drama is coming to an end.
Everyone will be watching Liverpool to see if they make another attempt to get Sweden international Isak before the transfer market closes on September 1st, as Woltemade is now a Newcastle player. In the meanwhile, if Isak leaves, the Magpies are also targeting Yoane Wissa of Brentford.
